Jim Miller V Thiago Alves: What will go down.

The featured bout of the UFC 205 Fight Pass Prelims, sees a Lightweight bout between former UFC Welterweight title challenger Thiago 'Pitbull' Alves and veteran Lightweight Jim Miller. Miller most recently defeated Joe Lauzon at UFC Fight Night: Condit V Maia. While Alves was defeated by former UFC Interim Welterweight champion, Carlos Condit. Alves holds impressive victories over Matt Hughes and Josh Koscheck, before losing to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 100, and then Jon Fitch. 'Pitbull' is a highly regarded knockout artist, with 12 of his 21 victories coming via KO/TKO. Jim Miller on the other hand, is a supreme grappler, trained to black belt level by Jamie Cruz. Miller has an impressive 13 submission wins to his name, tapping the likes of Melvin Guillard, Yancy Mederios,    Duane 'Bang' Ludwig and Charles 'Do Bronx' Oliviera in his career. Miller was beaten by Nate Diaz in their Lightweight title eliminator, with the Stockton native eventually losing to Benson 'Smooth' Henderson.
