Rashad Evans scheduled Middleweight debut against Tim Kennedy has been put on hold due a nagging injury, which has prevented him from being medically cleared. Evans was hoping to recover from his Light Heavyweight loss to Glover Teixiera, and looked to revive his career against the returning Tim Kennedy at Middleweight. Kennedy last featured in 2014, in a controversial loss to Yoel Romero, where the Cuban refused to leave his stool between rounds, before knocking out the Army Sergeant. Former Light Heavyweight kingpin Rashad Evans' last win came in the form of a KO victory over 'American Gangster' Chael Sonnen.
