Joanna then seen a sweet left jab left kick combination land. Joanna was finding great results with her combinations early on in the first round, and so far, Kowlakiewicz had no answer to it. Both women clinched against the fence, and Joanna was landing some good knees to Karolina's body. Joanna looked typically impressive in the first round, tagging Kowalkiewicz over and over again. The second of five scheduled rounds began with similar combinations from Jedrzejczyk. Joanna then engaged in a clinch game before breaking and landing another combination. Kowalkiewicz caught a kick from Joanna before landing a shot on Joanna's nose. The third round began with Kowalkiewicz engaging in a clinch before Joanna landed an elbow and another body kick combination. There seemed to a huge gulp in class between the two Poles, as the fourth round got underway. Joanna once again landed more combinations. Kowalkiewicz landed a decent flurry on the champ, but Jedrzejczyk escaped with ease. Suddenly, Kowlakiewicz completely rocked Jedrzejczyk and swarmed to finish, and somehow Joanna survived. Kowalkiewicz looked to have gained confidence from that exchange. The fifth and final round began with both fighters embracing each other before Jedrzejczyk landed with those vicious combinations.
