Former UFC Lightweight champion Frankie 'The Answer' Edgar, features against Featherweight newcomer Jeremy 'Lil Heathen' Stephens in the featured bout of the UFC 205 Prelims. Edgar was unable to find a way past current UFC Interim Featherweight champion José Aldo at UFC 200, while Stephens picked up a decision victory over Brazilian Renan Barão in his last contest. Supreme wrestler Edgar, trains with Mark Henry in New York alongside the like of defending UFC Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, and Muay Thai specialist Edson Barboza. Jeremy Stephens on the other hand is a legitimate knockout artist, fighting out of Alliance MMA alongside Dominick Cruz, newly crowned Bellator Light Heavyweight champion Phil Davis and Swedish striker Alexander 'The Mauler' Gustafsson. Frankie Edgar has been in many high profile bouts in his journey man career, taking on the likes of Gray Maynard and B.J. Penn, while Stephens was beaten by Max Holloway recently, where a win could see him taking on Anthony 'Showtime' Pettis at UFC 206 in Canada.
