A featherweight title pairing between two-weight titleholder, Amanda 'The Lioness' Nunes and challenger, Felicia 'Feenom' Spencer is expected to be rescheduled for a UFC event on June 6th. - following its removal from the cancelled UFC 250, and UFC 249 cards recently.

Bahia favourite, Nunes, will attempt the premier defence of her 145-pound championship after she shocked Cris Cyborg to claim the throne back in December of 2018. Since then, the 31-year-old has added a pair of successful bantamweight title defences to her résumé - with wins coming over former world champions, Holly Holm, and Germaine de Randamie. Former Invicta FC featherweight gold-holder, Spencer, earned her crack at Octagon gold via a ground-and-pound stoppage of Zarah Fairn Dos Santos at UFC Fight Night Norfolk back in February. News of the rebooked matchup was initially reported by ESPN'sAriel Helwani.

Since her Octagon debut back in August of 2013 - Nunes has amassed an incredible record of 12-1, with her single blemish coming against recent Bellator MMA signee, Cat Zingano. Nunes claimed the bantamweight title back in 2016 at UFC 200 - finishing Miesha Tate with a first-round rear-naked choke. Nunes has successfully defended against inaugural champion, Ronda Rousey, current flyweight best, Valentina Shevchenko, TUF alumni Raquel Pennington - as well as the aforementioned 'Preacher's Daughter', and 'The Iron Lady'.

Quebec born grappler, Spencer, has only spent three fights of her nine walks in the UFC, but has already made a big splash at 145-pounds. The Taekwondo and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt managed a debut outing submission over fellow former Invicta FC featherweight champion, Megan Anderson. Spencer would then go on to face current Bellator MMA 145-pound titleholder, Cyborg at UFC 240 last July - losing a very admirable unanimous decision. The 29-year-old earned her premier title tilt under the UFC banner with her stoppage of Dos Santos last time out.
