The uncertain schedule of the UFC continues, as the promotion is forced to alter its upcoming cards. The promotion will remain in Jacksonville, Florida for their UFC Fight Night event tomorrow, and Saturday - following the Octagon's landing at the VyStar Arena last Saturday night for UFC 249.

An event that has been altered somewhat, however, is an upcoming UFC Fight Night event on May 23rd. - originally scheduled to take place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to an initial report by MMA Junkie writer, Nolan King, the promotion will now hold the event on May 30th. - with a venue and location yet to be confirmed.

Those plans to hold the May 23rd. event at the UFC Apex have now been scuppered - with the Nevada State Athletic Commission yet to discuss the topic of lifting the ongoing suspension on all combat sports in the state, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Although a full card was yet to be announced by the promotion - they did put pen to paper on four expected matchups. Former welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley was expected to make his first Octagon appearance since his title loss to Kamaru Usman last March - headlining the card against grappling sensation, Gilbert Burns. Another renowned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu player was set to make her Octagon return, as Mackenzie Dern was paired with striker, Hannah Cifers.

In a heavyweight rescheduling, Blagoy Ivanov was pencilled in to take on Augusto Sakai - following their bout fallout from the first instalment of UFC 250. Klidson Abreu was also expected to meet with Jamahal Hill on the card.
