Chase Hooper vs. Alex Caceres Slated for UFC 250 on June 6th.

A UFC featherweight pairing between undefeated prospect, Chase 'The Dream' Hooper, and longtime Octagon mainstay, Alex 'Bruce Leeroy' Caceres is set to feature on the UFC 250 card on June 6th. at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Enumclaw native, Hooper - has become a cult hero under the promotional banner already, despite featuring just once in the organization. The 20-year-old debuted against Sweden's, Daniel Teymur - taking an opening round rear-naked choke triumph. Promotion veteran, Caceres - will look to extend his unbeaten run to two fights, following a unanimous decision win over Steven Peterson in July last year. News of the scheduled matching was first reported by ESPN writer, Ariel Helwani.

Hooper, who plys his trade at Combat Sports & Fitness in his native Washington, is a former Combat Games lightweight titleholder - with an undefeated 9-0-1 professional record. Following a 2018 appearance on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contenders Series, Hooper returned to the regional circuit - despite securing a unanimous victory over Canaan Kawaihae.

With twenty-one Octagon appearances under his belt, Caceres represents one of the most storied and experienced challengers at featherweight today. The Freedom Fighters MMA mainstay has scored a 10-10-1 record with the organization, featuring in high-profile meetings with former WEC 145-pound best, Urijah Faber, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu standout, Kron Gracie, and headlined a UFC Fight Night Salt Lake City event against rising contender, Yair Rodríguez back in August of 2016.

In highlight triumphs, the 31-year-old picked up wins over recent Bellator MMA signee, Sergio Pettis, Cole Miller, Damacio Page, and Cole Escovedo. In the twelfth instalment of The Ultimate Fighter, Caceres appeared in the quarter-finals - losing a unanimous decision to Michael 'The Menace' Johnson.
