Ariane Lipski vs. Luana Carolina rescheduled for UFC event on June 13th.

An all Brazilian affair between flyweight prospects, Ariane 'Violence Queen' Lipski, and Luana 'Dread' Carolina has been rescheduled from a postponed UFC Fight Night San Diego event last weekend, and will now feature at an event on June 13th. instead. Las Vegas is currently the frontrunner to host the event.

Lipski returned to the win column in her last UFC outing, taking a unanimous decision win over Isabela de Pádua in November of last year. Carolina, on the other hand, will make her second Octagon appearance, following a victory over Priscila Cachoeira last May. News of the expected matching was first reported by Combate'sRaphael Marinho.

Lipski, 26, is a former KSW flyweight champion, but has yet to settle into her new role in the Octagon, Debuting back in January of last year, Lipski was paired with future flyweight title challenger, Joanne Calderwood - finding herself on the wrong end of a unanimous decision judging. In July, the Muay Thai practitioner lost her second consecutive outing, this time to popular Liverpudlian, 'Meatball' Molly McCann. The Curitiba native successfully defended the KSW 125-pound crown three times, picking up a knockout win over UFC alumni, Sheila Gaff to earn her title tilt back in October of 2016.

Following a unanimous decision win over Mabelly Lima on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contenders Series back in August of 2018 - Carolina put pen to paper on a UFC deal. Following her previously mentioned win over, Cachoeira, the 26-year-old seen a bout with Yanan Wu cancelled on two separate occasions - with both prospects suffering injuries. The São Paulo based striker has secured victories in her last six straight outings.

The UFC Fight Night event is expected to take place on June 13th. - with Las Vegas a potential suitor for the card. The following matchups are planned for the event.
