Roosevelt Roberts vs. Brok Weaver slated for UFC event on May 30th.

A UFC lightweight pairing of exciting prospects, Roosevelt 'The Predator' Roberts, and Brok 'Chata Tsuka' Weaver is expected at a UFC Fight Night event on May 30th. from the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Florida native, Roberts, recently returned to the winner's enclosure back at UFC Fight Night Moscow in November of last year, taking a unanimous decision shutout against Alexander Yakovlev. Alabama native, Weaver - recently made his Octagon bow at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho back in February, taking a disqualification victory after his opponent, Rodrigo Vargas landed an illegal knee. News of the slated matchup was first reported by Fight Bananas.
Roberts, 26, made his first UFC appearance back in November 2018, like Weaver - also arriving from Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. In his sole promotional blemish, Roberts dropped a decision to Vinc Pinchel. Before the loss, Roberts secured a submission win over Darrell Horcher and a judging win over Thomas Gifford. The talented striker and submission-artist had established an eight-fight undefeated record before his defeat to Pinchel in June of last year.
Weaver, 28, is one of the most revered prospects at 155-pounds today. Following a Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship loss to UFC alumni, Joe Riggs - Weaver competed twice more on the regional circuit, before taking a decision win over Devin Smith on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Before his first Octagon outing against the previously noted, Vargas - Weaver withdrew from a clash with the aforementioned, Gifford. The renowned finisher also holds an earlier career win over the veteran, storied, Charles 'Krazy Horse' Bennett.
