Julia Avila vs. Karol Rosa rescheduling planned for UFC event on June 13th.

A bantamweight pairing of Julia 'Raging Panda' Avila and Karol Rosa is targeted to finally take place at a UFC Fight Night event on June 13th. - with a location and venue yet to be determined by the promotion.
Los Angelas based, Avila, marked her Octagon bow triumphantly last July, taking a unanimous decision win over TUF 28 finalist, Pannie Kianzad. Brazilian all-rounder, Rosa, will make her second promotional appearance, following a close split decision win over Lara Procópio in August of last year. News of the expected rescheduling was initially reported by MMA Fighting writers, Mike Heck and Guilherme Cruz.
This will be the fourth attempted pairing of Avila and Rosa under the UFC banner, following an initial fall out after Rosa suffered a knee injury ahead of a UFC Fight Night Singapore event last year. The two were then scheduled to feature on April 11th. and May 2nd. events, until their ultimate postponement due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Avila, 32, can improve an unbeaten run to four fights with a victory over Rosa, and move to 2-0 in the promotion in the process. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt has spent two separate stints with Invicta FC, securing a win over Alexa Connors, and in her sole career defeat, suffering a hand injury which resulted in a stoppage to Marciea Allen. Avila holds career highlight victories over inaugural UFC 125-pound champion, Nicco Montaño, as well as bantamweight contender, Marion Reneau.
For Rosa, a matchup with Avila also offers the Brazilian the opportunity to extend a winning-rise to four bouts. Before her aforementioned organizational debut win over Procópio, Rosa had notched a pair of wins on her native regional circuit, taking out Gisele Moreira, and Tamires Vidal. With three career blemishes, Rosa has dropped defeats to the previously noted, Moreira, Larissa Pacheco, and compatriot, Melissa Gatto - a prospect she shares the June 13th. event with.
The UFC Fight Night event is expected to take place on June 13th. with a location or venue yet to be confirmed by the promotion. Kazakhstan was scheduled to host its first UFC event, however, it's believed the event will be relocated. The following matchups are tentatively scheduled to take place.

- Gazhimurad Antigulov vs. Klidson Abreu (light heavyweight)
- Mariya Agapova vs. Melissa Gatto (flyweight)
