Andre Fili vs. Charles Jourdain on Deck for a UFC Event on June 13th.

A featherweight matchup between division prospects, Andre 'Touchy' Fili, and Charles 'Air' Jourdain is slated to take place at a UFC event on June 13th. - with a venue and location yet to be confirmed by the promotion.

Experienced challenger, Fili - is attempting to bounce back from a unanimous decision loss to Sodiq Yussuff at UFC 246 in January, in a hugely entertaining bout. In a statement performance, Jourdain scored a stoppage win over the returning, Doo Ho Choi at UFC Fight Night Busan in December. News of the pairing was first reported by Journal de Montréal.

Team Alpha MMA mainstay, Fili - will make his fifteenth UFC appearance - since his promotional debut back in 2013. The 29-year-old saw his two-fight win streak snapped in his aforementioned bout with Yussuff - after two standout wins against, Sheymon Moraes, and recent Bellator signee, Myles Jury. In his other four promotional defeats, Fili dropped results to former undisputed featherweight kingpin, Max Holloway, surging contenders, Yair Rodríguez, and Calvin Kattar - and former lightweight challenger, Michael Johnson.

The Washington native has scored victories over the likes of Artem Lobov, Gabriel Beníŧez, Dennis Bermudez, and Hacran Dias. Making his first professional walk back at the turn of the decade - the exciting striker has managed nine knockout victories from twenty career wins.

Quebec native, Jourdain recently made his Octagon bow, and is currently 1-1 in the promotion. The 24-year-old prospect dropped his second career defeat to Des Green - following an earlier loss on the Canadian regional circuit. Before his move to the UFC - Jourdain managed to claim the TKO featherweight crown, via a first-round guillotine win over Alex Morgan. Following his win over Morgan - Jourdain claimed the interim lightweight title with a triumph over Damien Lapilus in a fifth-round knockout. His above-noted loss to Green marked his first professional blemish in four outings, since a decision defeat to T.J. Laramie back in 2017.
