A flyweight meeting between former division title challenger, Tim Elliott and promotional debutante, Brandon 'Raw Dawg' Royval is expected to take at a UFC Fight Night event on May 30th. at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Ultimate Fighter season twenty-four victor, Elliott - has taken a dip in form recently, dropping a submission loss to Deiveson Figueiredo, and Askar Askarov. 27-year-old Denver native, Royval - will make his Octagon bow, after he originally scheduled to compete against former-foe Jerome Rivera on Dana White's Tuesday Night Contenders Series in June. News of the slated contest was first reported by MMA Fighting writer, Mike Heck.

Kansas native, Elliott is enjoying his second organizational stint - following an inaugural Titan FC flyweight championship reign. Since his December 2016 return, Elliott has lost a competitive decision to consensus division all-time best, Demetrious 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson, before taking victories against Louis Smolka, and Mark De La Rosa. Elliott first debuted with the promotion back in May of 2012, losing a unanimous decision to two-time flyweight title chaser, John Dodson - before taking wins over Jared Papazian, and Louis Gaudinot.

Factory X trainee, Royval - will make the transition to the UFC, after claiming the vacant LFA 125-pound title - via a record-setting armbar victory over Nate Williams. The victory marked Royval's second straight win, following another submission, this time over UFC alumni Joby Sanchez. In his most prior defeat, Royval dropped a decision to fellow organizational prospect, Casey Kenney - whom he shares next Saturday's card with.
