Philipe Lins, Tanner Boser Set to Meet at UFC Event on June 28th.

A heavyweight pairing between recent Octagon debutante. Philipe 'Monstro' Lins, and Tanner 'The Bulldozer' Boser is set to feature at a UFC event on June 28th. - with a location and venue yet to be confirmed by the promotion.
Making a quick turnaround from his first Octagon outing defeat to former champion, Andrei Arlovski - former PFL heavyweight tournament-best, Lins, will make his second UFC walk in just over a month. Alberta native, Boser will make his first promotional appearance since UFC Fight Night Busan in December, where he dropped a unanimous decision loss to surging division prospect, Ciryl Gane. News of the slated pairing was first reported by Combate writer, Raphael Marinho.
In a veteran, calculated performance, Belarusian striker Arlovski - managed to outscore Rio Grande de Notre native, Lins - on his way to a judging win at UFC Fight Night Jacksonville. The defeat marked Lins' first loss in four outings - two of which occurred on the same October 2018 evening. Making his professional bow on the Brazilian regional circuit back in 2005, the 34-year-old holds a 14-4 record, with notable performances over UFC alumnus, Jared Rosholt, and Alex Nicholson - as well as Ultimate Fighter contestant, Guilherme Viana.
With two Octagon appearances under his belt - Canadian prospect, Boser holds a 1-1 record in the UFC. Before the above-mentioned loss to Gane, Boser debuted with a unanimous decision judging over Daniel Spitz in October of 2018. The 28-year-old competed under the Unified MMA banner in his native Canada - where he was the promotion's heavyweight champion. A meeting with Jeff Hughes at UFC Fight Night Columbus was scheduled, until the entire card was shelved, amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
