Renan Barão V Phillipe Nover: What will go down.

Former UFC Bantamweight champion Renan Barão will meet New York native Phillipe Nover in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 95 in Brazil. Barão has moved up to Featherweight since his second loss to T.J. Dillahaw where he lost his Bantamweight crown, and his Featherweight debut proved to be a difficult one as Jeremy 'Lil' Heathen' Stephens picked up a unanimous decision victory over the submission specialist. Barão holds impressive victories over the former WEC Featherweight champion Urijah Faber and has a highlight reel spinning back kick KO victory over Eddie Wineland as he defended his UFC Interim Bantamweight title. The Brazil native holds an impressive submission record in his MMA career with 15 victories coming by way of tap out for the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. New Yorker Nover was an Ultimate Fighter finalist, but ultimately/lost to Efrain Escudero in the seasons finale. The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt holds a win over Darrell Horcher while in Bellator before the latter made his way to the Ultimate Fightin Championship, bravely taking a short notice bout with Dagestan native Khabib Nurmagomedov, but succumbing to punches in the second round, after being dominated throughout. Renan Barão's top level experience should prove to be too much for Nover to deal with as he looks to kickstart his Featherweight career.

Renan Barão via unanimous decision.
