Swansea City v Manchetser City:
Francesco Guidolan's Swansea faced Pep Guardiola's Manchetser City for the second time in three days after being knocked out of the EFL cup by the 'Sky Blues' on Wednesday. Sergio Aguero returned to the City starting XI after his three match ban for lashing out at West Ham defender Winston Reid and made an immediate impact on his return, finding the net after just 10 minutes at The Liberty. The Argentine nipped ahead of Jordi Amat before coolly slotting though the legs of Lukasz Fabianski to give his side an early lead. Swansea found an immediate response, through former Atlectic Bilbao striker Fernando Llorente who volleyed past Claudio Bravo to score his first goal for the 'Swans'. The home side were troubling City with Glyfi Sigursson pulling the strings in the midfield. Belgian superstar Kevin De Bruyne missed a glorious chance before the half ended as he side footed wide from Gundogan's pass. After the interval, Amat was on hand to deny Aguero with a clever block. The pressure proved too much for the home side as Van der Hoorn flung his arm in De Bruyne's face in the area with Neil Swarbrick awarding a surprise penalty. Aguero stepped up and almost, Zidane-esque scored from the spot with a Panenka penalty to restore his sides lead, and grab his second goal on his return. Swansea were pressing for a late equaliser but all three points were wrapped up as Raheem Sterling beat Kyle Naughton before slotting underneath Fabianski to make it 3-1. The only worry for Guardiola, was a late injury to star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, resulting in him being substituted.
