Stoke City v West Bromwich Albion
Mark Hughes' Stoke side looked for his first Premier League win of the season as he welcomed Tony Pulis' high flying West Brom to the Bet365 Stadium. Both sides were tentative in the first period and engaged in a feeling out process for much of the half with Glen Johnson having the pick of the first half opportunities as he lifted the ball over Ben Foster only for Craig Dawson to get back on the line to clear a certain goal. After the break, Stoke took the initiative as Xherdan Shaqiri troubled Allan Nyom and seen his delivery fall to Joe Allen after Johnny Evans made a hash of his clearance and Allen found the net to give his side the lead midway through the second half. Stoke made their own mistake from Darren Fletcher's corner as Lee Grant and Bruno Martins-Indi got fumbled allowing Salomon Rondon to net an easy header to steal a point at the dying embers for 'The Potters'.
