Danny Roberts vs. Nicolas Dalby Added to UFC Fight Island Event on July 25th.

A welterweight bout between division mainstay, Danny 'Hot Chocolate' Roberts, and former Cage Warriors 170-pound best, Nicolas 'Lokomotive' Dalby has been rebooked for a UFC 'Fight Island' event on July 25th. from Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Roberts and Dalby were slated to meet at UFC Fight Night London in March until the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic forced the shelving of the meeting and the entire event as a whole.

Croydon native, Roberts returned to the win column back in November in hostile territory - taking a knockout win over Zelim Imadaev at UFC Fight Night Moscow. Returning to the promotion and also the winner's enclosure last time out, the popular Denmark native, Dalby secured a unanimous decision win over 'Cowboy' Oliveira at UFC Fight Night Copenhagen.

Approaching his sixth year under the promotional banner, Roberts has managed to land a 6-4 promotional record since. The 32-year-old has scored two Fight of the Night honours in the process, in wins over Dominique Steele, and David Zawada. His November win over Imadaev marked his first win in three, following two consecutive losses to both Michel Pereira, and Cláudio Silva.

In three years since his first Octagon stint came to an abrupt end back in 2016, 35-year-old contender, Dalby scored notable finishes of Roberto Allegretti, Philip Mulpeter, and Alex Lohore before fighting to an entertaining No Contest opposite recent Bellator MMA signee, Ross Houston back in June of last year. In a homecoming return to the UFC, Dalby received a massive ovation on his way to a judging win over Oliveira.
