The latest instalment of the UFC's, The Ultimate Fighter series is set to return - with current middleweight champion, Israel 'The Last Stylebender' Adesanya expected to coach opposite number-one contender, and developing rival, Paulo 'The Eraser' Costa.

Speaking on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience with kickboxing ace, Joe Shilling - UFC colour-commentator, Joe Rogan revealed that the popular reality TV show will return, with both Adesanya and Costa coaching opposite each other - ahead of a much-anticipated championship clash.

"They're bringing it back by the way," Rogan said. "Paulo Costa, and Israel Adesanya, yeah. Holy sh*t, tell me you're not gonna watch that. That fight is a wild fight, man."

Adesanya will look to make the second defence of his 185-pound title, following a successful unification meeting with Robert Whittaker at UFC 243 in Melbourne last October. In a less than memorable matchup with multiple-time title challenger, Yoel Romero in March - the undefeated striker scored a unanimous decision win.

Fellow undefeated knockout-artist, Costa last featured at UFC 241 in August of last year - taking a narrow judging victory over the aforementioned, Romero. The 29-year-old Belo Horizonte native competed on The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3 back in 2014, managing a second-round guillotine win over José Roberto, before a split decision defeat to Márcio Alexandre Jr.

The most recent instalment of The Ultimate Fighter came in the form of, The Ultimate Fighter: Heavy Hitters back in 2018 with the aforementioned, Whittaker coaching against one-time interim middleweight title challenger, Kelvin Gastelum.
