Luis Peña vs. Khama Worthy Booked for UFC Fight Night Vegas on June 27th.

A lightweight pairing between Luis 'Violent Bob Ross' Peña and Khama 'The Deathstar' Worthy is on tap for a UFC Fight Night event on June 27th. - with the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada set to host the card.

Naples native, Peña - will make his second Octagon appearance of the year, following a unanimous decision win over Steve Garcia at UFC Fight Night Norfolk in February. Pittsburgh-based striker, Worthy is expected to make his second walk under the UFC banner, following a shocking knockout upset over Devonte Smith last August. News of the pairing was initially reported by MMA Junkie writers, Nolan King and Farah Hannoun.

Peña made his first appearance in the UFC back in July of 2018 - taking a second-round guillotine win over now Bellator MMA submission-artist, Richie Smullen. The 26-year-old has since scored wins over Steven Peterson, Matt Wiman, as well as his February outing against Garcia. In close judging defeats, the former featherweight dropped split losses to Michael Trizano and Matt Frevola.

Riding a six-fight winning streak, Worthy is finally set to make his second Octagon walk, after pairings with Ottman Azaitar, and Michael Johnson fell to the wayside in March. The former 247 FC lightweight titleholder plys his trade at Pittsburgh Academy, and during his professional career dating back to 2012, has scored a 15-6 record - landing thirteen finishes in the process.
