Ryan Benoit Out, Tyson Nam Now Faces Zarrukh Adashev on June 13th.

A bantamweight pairing of Ryan 'Baby Face' Benoit and Tyson Nam has fallen to the wayside for a UFC Fight Night Vegas card this Saturday night. In Benoit's place, steps kickboxer, Zarrukh Adashev who makes his promotional bow.

Hawaii native, Nam will welcome Adashev to the promotion, and in the process, attempt to bring an end to a two-fight slide under the UFC banner. Uzbekistan native, Adashev who has competed as a kickboxer under GLORY scrutiny - has also secured three wins under the Bellator MMA banner. News of the reworked matchup was first reported by TSN reporter, Aaron Bronsteter.

Nam, who'll hold a staggering twenty-six fight experience advantage over the 3-1, Adashev - has dropped two consecutive defeats to both Kai Kara-France, and Sergio Pettis, the latter in his promotional debut. The 36-year-old holds victories over the likes of former two-time Bellator bantamweight titleholder, Eduardo Dantas, and former Fight Nights Global flyweight best, Ali Bagautinov.

Zarrukh 'The Lion' Adashev is undefeated in his last three mixed martial arts outings, taking knockout wins over Tevin Dyce, and Christian Medina, with a unanimous decision victory over Ron Leon coming in between. Adashev last competed in October last year, scoring that knockout of Dyce. The 27-year-old holds a professional kickboxing record of 16-3, taking ten separate finishes to boot.
