A middleweight pairing has been added to a UFC Fight Night event on August 29th. - as veteran challenger, Zak Cummings meets with Alessio 'Manzo' Di Chirico.

Hoping to return from a unanimous decision judging loss to Omari Akhmedov, recent division returnee, Cummings will make his thirteenth Octagon appearance. Whilst his middleweight counterpart is hoping to prevent a second straight loss, Rome native, Di Chirico is attempting to bring an end to a two-fight skid - following a unanimous decision defeat to Makhmud Muradov in Copenhagen last September, News of the matchup was initially reported by MMA Junkie reporters, Farah Hannoun and Nolan King.

Cummings, 35, recently returned to 185-pounds - making a notable impact from the get-go. The Irving native managed a decision shutout win over Trevor Smith, before slapping a guillotine on Trevin Giles, to nab his incredible, twelfth submission success.

Former light heavyweight prospect, Di Chirico saw his blemish to the aforementioned, Muradov - add to another unanimous loss to Kevin Holland in a torrid 2019. The loss marked his first in two, after wins over Julian Marquez, and Oluwale Bamgbose in the prior seven months. Making his Octagon bow back in April of 2016 opposite Bojan Veličković - Di Chirio would suffer his first professional loss in ten outings.
