A strawweight meeting of kickboxing prospect, Mizuki Inoue, and grappler, Amanda 'Amandina' Lemos is set to take place at a UFC event on August 22nd. - with a location and venue yet to be disclosed by the promotion.

Emerging Japanese talent, Inoue will make her second Octagon appearance, having debuted at UFC Fight Night Shenzhen last August - taking a split decision win over Wu Yanan. Para-based grappler, Lemos took a rear-naked choke over Miranda Granger at UFC Fight Night Busan in December. News of the pairing was first penned by Combate reporter, Marcelo Barone.

Inoue, 24, joined the promotion's ranks, following a return to the winner's enclosure with a unanimous decision over UFC alumnus, Viviane Pereira under the Invicta FC banner. Prior to the win, Inoue had unsuccessfully attempted to pry the promotion's strawweight championship from. Virna Jandiroba - who has also since transitioned to the UFC.

A talented kickboxer with nine separate submission victories on her résumé - Inoue has improved her overall game no end. She was scheduled to meet with Tecia Torres at UFC Fight Night Columbus in April until the entire card was shelved amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Brazil native, Lemos, made her promotional bow back in July of 2017 - dropping a nasty elbow knockout to Leslie Smith. Rebounding, the 33-year-old finally secured her first win in the organization, with last December's win over Granger. Before her appearance at UFC Fight Night Busan, a meeting with Venezuela's, Veronica Macedo fell to the wayside.

Lemos accepted a two-year suspension from USADA after a test-sample from November 2017 tested positive for the banned substance, stanozolol.
