Update: Pedro Munhoz vs. Frankie Edgar Moved to UFC Event on July 15th.

UFC 251 has seen a reshuffle. Perennial bantamweight contender, Pedro 'The Young Punisher' Munhoz was expected to welcome former lightweight champion, Frankie 'The Answer' Edgar to 135-pounds on the July 11th. event.
We'll still see that matchup - just four days later on the July 15th. event which is set to be headlined by Calvin Kattar and Dan Ige in an interesting featherweight clash. According to a report from Carlos Antunes from AgFight, the matchup between Munhoz and Edgar will be relocated to the July 15th. card - which also takes place from Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Attempting to return to winning ways, São Paulo native, Munhoz last featured at UFC 238, where he dropped a unanimous decision to number-one contender, Aljamain 'Funk Master' Sterling. The defeat marked Munhoz's first in three outings, which included a spectacular first-round knockout of former bantamweight titleholder, Cody Garbrandt, as well as a finish of Bryan Caraway, and a judging win over Brett Johns.
Future Hall of Fame inductee, Edgar is also attempting to prevent another defeat - which would mark his third straight. Following a championship challenge defeat to then gold holder, Max Holloway at featherweight, the Toms River native drafted in on short-notice in place of one-time title challenger, Brian 'T-City' Ortega at UFC Fight Night Busan in December. Meeting Chan Sung Jung in a headlining spot, Edgar dropped just his second ever stoppage loss.
The 38-year-old was slated to make his first foray at bantamweight at UFC Fight Night Raleigh in January, taking on Cory Sandhagen, until he elected to meet Jung on short-notice.
