A strawweight pairing between division prospects, Lívia 'Livinha' Renata Souza, and Ashley 'Spider Monkey' Yoder is slated to feature at a UFC event on August 15th. - with a location or venue yet to be confirmed by the promotion. The event was initially scheduled to take place in Dublin, Ireland, however, it's now been relocated.

Former Invicta FC strawweight champion, Souza, will make her fourth Octagon appearance - as she attempts to rebound from a unanimous decision loss to fellow former Invicta FC titleholder, Brianna Van Buren last July in Sacramento. Indiana native, Yoder, on the other hand last featured at UFC Fight Night Kallang in October - dropping a split decision to short-notice replacement, Randa Markos. News of the pairing was initially reported by Combate reporter, Raphael Marinho.

São Paulo submission-specialist, Souza, secured the Invicta FC 115-pound crown back in 2016, following a penultimate round triangle over Katja Kankaanpää, In her sole successful defence, the 29-year-old finished DeAnna Bennett with strikes, before a title loss to fellow UFC strawweight contender, Angela Hill in May of 2016.

Souza would go on to score two more wins under the Invicta FC banner before signing a multi-fight deal with the UFC. In her Octagon bow, Souza managed an opening-frame guillotine over Alex Chambers - on home soil no less. Before her above-noted loss to Van Buren, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt managed a split decision win over compatriot, Sarah Frota.

Yoder, 32, will make her seventh Octagon appearance, following a similar transition from Invicta FC back in a 2016 move. The Team Quest trainee failed to settle into her new surroundings immediately, dropping three straight decision losses, including a razor-thin judging defeat to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu standout, Mackenzie Dern - in the latter's promotional bow.

Returning to winning ways, the Indianapolis native secured a win over TUF 23 finalist, Amanda 'ABC' Cooper - before a unanimous decision win over one-time Pancrase strawweight titleholder, Syuri Kondo last June.
