Jim Miller vs. Roosevelt Roberts Scheduled for UFC Fight Night Vegas on June 20th.

A catchweight 160-pound pairing between veteran lightweight challenger, Jim Miller, and recent victor, Roosevelt 'The Predator' Roberts is booked to take place at UFC Fight Night Vegas on June 20th. - with the UFC APEX facility in 'Sin City' expected to host the card.
New Jersey native, Miller will make his second Octagon appearance of the year, following a decision defeat to Scott Holtzman at UFC Fight Night Rio Rancho in February. As noted above, Roberts recently featured on May 30th., scoring a second-round rear-naked choke over Brok Weaver. News of the pairing was first reported by MMA Junkie reporters, Nolan King and Farah Hannoun.
Miller, 36, had won two straight before his blemish to Holtzman. The longtime division contender had finished fellow veteran, former Strikeforce lightweight best, Clay Guida - whom he'll share the card with, as well as a submission win over Jason Gonzalez. Miller has competed under the promotion's banner since UFC 89 back in October of 2008, and has taken notable triumphs over the likes of Matt Wiman, Mac Danzig, Duane Ludwig, Gleison Tibau, Charles Oliveira, Melvin Guillard, Joe Lauzon (x2), Yancy Medeiros, Takanori Gomi, and Thiago Alves.
Florida native, Roberts earned his deal with the UFC following a July 2018 rear-naked choke win over Garrett Gross on Dana White's Tuesday Nights Contenders Series. Since that win, the 26-year-old has bested Darrell Horcher, Thomas Gifford, Alexander Yakovlev, and the aforementioned, Weaver. In his only career loss, the Miami favourite dropped a decision to Vinc Pichel at UFC Fight Night Minneapolis last June. Roberts arrived in the promotion with a 6-0 record, which he's improved to 10-1.
