Chelsea look set to snap up Kante:

Antonio Conte looks to make major waves in the transfer window with his new club Chelsea agreeing a fee with Leicester City for French midfielder N'Golo Kante. Leicester had just yesterday offered the midfielder engine a new contract, but today Claudio Ranieri told how he would 'understand' if Kante wanted to depart the Premier League champions. The London club have seen a £32 million offer accepted for the French Euro 2016 star as they look to sure up their squad after a dreadful campaign last season. Kante is expected to have a medical this weekend and will then take part in Chelsea's pre season tour in Austria. Kante along with Jamie Vardy, Riyad Mahrez and Danny Drinkwater were heralded as the key figures in Leicester's triumphs last season. Kante starred in the France side that as favourites stumbled at the final hurdle against the plucky Portuguese side in the final as Eder scored the sole goal of the match. Kante was linked constantly with a move to Parisian side Paris Saint Germain but Unai Emery instead chose to bring alon midfielder Gregorz Krychowiak with him from Spanish side and Europa League champions Sevilla. Real Madrid were linked with a move while Juventus were rumoured to have seen Kante as a replacement for midfielder Paul Pogba who is rumoured to be on his way back to Manchester United in a £100 million record deal.
