Who does Tyron Woodley face next.

Tyron Woodley shook up the world last night when he dethroned dominant Welterweight champion Robbie Lawler to become the new UFC Welterweight Champion. Woodley approached the opening round in very cautious fashion before unleashing his right hand on Lawler's chin as the Coconut Creek native fell to the mat unconscious. Woodley later jumped onto Fox sport to talk to #1 ranked Welterweight Stephen 'Wonderboy' Thompson with the exciting Karate master asking Woodley if he would be willing to defend his title against him at UFC 205 at Madison Square Garden in November. Woodley then gave his view on his first title defence and stated how Thompson should battle Robbie Lawler with the winner getting their shot at the title. Woodley, then surprisingly told how he wanted to fight the returning Nick Diaz at UFC 202 in just 3 weeks and admitted that Diaz was now a big money fight and how he wanted a big pay day before he became too old. Woodley also flirted with the idea of taking on a returning Georges St. Pierre in his first title defence. In my opinion, Diaz and St. Pierre cannot just 'skip the queue' with Thompson deserving a title shot next, but as with so many occasions in the UFC, rankings are thrown out the window in order to make these 'money' fights. Thompson, arguably the most dexterous, most exciting strikers in the UFC, he could definitely be the man to take the crown from Woodley and in my opinion would be the man to really hold that title for a long period of time and I can't really see any top 10 fighter finding a way past Thompson.
