UFC 202: Tickets On-Sale Press Conference: What just happened

'The Notorious' Conor McGregor and Stockton's Nate Daiz reignited their war of words on Thursday as they prepare to face each other for a second time in the 20th of August. This fight was infamously removed from the main event of UFC 200 after McGregor refused to fulfill his media obligations. It will be interesting to see what kind of approach McGregor will take into this press conference and weather he will try and trash talk Diaz and put his mental warfare back into practice again or weather he will take a more humble approach. We will also see how Dana's relationship is with both men after the controversial pulling of the fight. The press conference was then ultimately delayed as both men showed up late. It eventually took place at 8:15. Conor then made his appearance to a loud ovation from the crowd and Nate Diaz took to the stage gaining the same applause. McGregor was then asked about how he could sit on stage say 'well, well, well' relating to Jones' recent controversy. McGregor then talked about that missed press conference and how he will have his redemption over Diaz. Diaz was then asked was he surprised that Jones tested positive, and responded by saying 'everyone's on steroids'. Conor talked about how it was good to be back, and complimented their previous fight. McGregor then told how he will be sharp and 'take out' Diaz. He then talked about preparation and how he prepared differently for this rematch and how he has now brought in a southpaws to match a 'lanky, ugly, Mexican southpaw' referring to Diaz. McGregor wanted to leave no questions about their rematch. Diaz then was questioned on who McGregor brought in recently to spar with and complimented his choosing. McGregor tells how he 'giggles' when people mock him over his reluctantcy to defend his featherweight title and how he will continue to 'dominate' that division. Dana was then asked about both men's tardiness and told how he wasn't surprised. Helwani then received a huge ovation, and posed how Diaz and him develop their relationship, and then told how he respected him for thinking about the safer move. He was then telling how he was in shape to fight on Saturday and told all Dana needed to do was ask and he shall receive. McGregor was then asked about how he would incorporate bigger men into his camp, and responded by telling how he would tee off on him and put him under pressure and admired how he underestimated his durability and his experience. Dana then talked about how he hasn't talked to Jones and how he hasn't found an opponent for Cormier but was 'working on it'. McGreogor then talked about the recent death in a MMA event in Ireland. He talked about how he would have communicated better when he was ordered to do the press conference for UFC 200 and how he carried the 'company on his back' during 2015. He was also happy to be back training and was happy to be back. Dana didn't want to talk about the difficult negotiations. Nate then predicted his performance and predicted he would be even better. McGregor then told how he would envision a trilogy and how he was definitely coming back to the featherweight division and then take on Nate for a third time. McGregor then doubted the real figures of UFC 100 and told how the bringing of Lesnar was to hype up the card and save it. Nate them praised his 'strong' team and how he would bring in different people to spar. Diaz then told how he expected Conor to be more prepared and better for their rematch. Ole, ole, ole then rang through the T-Mobile Arena as the two men waited to square off. The stare down was intense with Dana keeping both men at distance to prevent another altercation before the event.
