Leicester offer Kante new contract:

Premier League champions Leicester City have offered workhorse midfielder N'Golo Kante a new contract to warn off clubs after his signature. Kante has been the subject of interest from Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea and most recently Manchester United who it is believed see him and fellow French midfielder Moussa Sissoko as an alternative for Paul Pogba if the former United man decides to say at Juventus rather than a return to Manchester. Kante, along with Vardy, Mahrez and Danny Drinkwater were heralded as the stars of the Leicester side as they overcame the odds to become Premier League champions. Kante is believed to have a release clause of £20 million but a new contract would at least remove that release clause and maybe increase the fee Leicester could recieve for the former Ligue 2 midfielder. Kante stared in a France midfield three during the European Championships and was unlucky not to recieve a winners medal after Portuguese striker Eder scored the decisive goal in the final.
